Late autumn in Saint John, NB is characterized by bright sunlight, sudden harsh winds, denuded trees with those few remaining flaming red, gold, and orange maple leaves mingling with their already brown counterparts.

There were over 100 pieces in this collage. Often I felt I really was in the middle of these trees as I juggled colour and placement to create depth.
