Inez Caldwell is a visual artist living in Scarborough, Ontario. Her artwork has been shown in galleries and juried exhibitions in Toronto, Halifax, Budapest, Fredericton, and Saint John. For the last ten years, she has worked in fiber collage and, more recently, colourful mixed media drawings. She has a sophisticated sense of colour and pattern, influenced by Kandinsky, Klee, Alfred Pellan and Matisse.

Since moving to Scarborough from New Brunswick in 2005, Ms. Caldwell is responding to the urban environment with ever more complex artwork. She was one of nine Canadians who were part of an international juried show in Budapest in August 2004. She has had several two person shows and been part of many group shows. She was part of the national show "Black and White Special Spring Exhibition" at Petroff Gallery, Toronto, Ontario in 2002.

Her strikingly enigmatic modernist work is available for sale at locations noted on her website and by direct contact. A portfolio of Inez Caldwell's work, roughly grouped by themes, can be accessed on her website at www.theartofcollage.com
